Cannon Beach and Seaside

Well, I know I'm a little delayed with my photos from Cannon Beach and our Llew crew 4th of July trip. It was interesting, at least for Saturday and Sunday. Picture this.... a football field.... 800 tents 1,200+ people loud music 1 bathroom.... thats right ONE bathroom for all those people! 1 bathroom... 3 women's stall and 2 mens. That was the way Jeremy and I spent Friday and Saturday night. Thankfully we had my parent's nice RV spot to hang out most of the time and use the bathroom.... it was crazy. Okay ready for more.... Seaside 4th of July thousands of people literally for a few miles hardly any room, which makes the fireworks sweet cause its kinda dangerous! LOL but then think about the beach...all those people and the bathroom situation... thousands of people plus 4 portapotties equals overflowingness by about 4pm! Don't get me wrong the beach itself was a blast.... illegal fireworks, home made bombs (nothing too crazy) and amazing family was awesome. But the bathroom situation was iffy! Okay ready for more... Our camp ground was about 3 miles from Seaside... 10:45pm get into car... 10:50 pull onto hwy 101 at the corner of 3rd 11:40 hwy 101 corner of 4th.... 12:10 corner of 4th still! To our left 3 police cars sitting in a parking lot waiting to see if anyone would try to come up the turn lane... no cops directing traffic.... 1:15am get back to camp! Yes folks, it took us 2 hours and 25 minutes to go stinking 2 miles! Out of Control is what I call that! Anyway... here are some pics I took on the trip... not many from the beach. Sane + expensive camera = no good. So I kept my camera away from the beach.
